One of Washington's first acts was to come to Long Island and thank all who had helped defeat the British. This lecture, using Washington's own journal, will trace his tour of places to see what he saw and then explore what those places look like today.

Chair yoga is a gentle practice, performed while seated and with the aid of a chair. Chair yoga is for everyone, and those who have difficulty with getting on and off the floor or find traditional yoga a bit too challenging will especially appreciate chair yoga.

This class utilizes hand-held weights, a band, and a ball to enhance strength, flexibility and coordination. These exercises can be performed standing or sitting. Equipment is optional.
