Marie DiPrimo will once again be conducting two sessions of her very popular Yoga classes on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings. Participants are required to bring a Yoga sticky mat, a blanket, a Yoga belt and a Yoga block for all classes.

Plan on joining talented instructor Marie DiPrimo for another series of classes for continuing or beginning knitters. The first portion of every class will be devoted to teaching a specific knitting technique. Please bring scrap yarn and any size needles for this part of the class. The remainder of the class will be devoted to working on individual projects. If you are a first-time knitter, please bring 2 straight #10 knitting needles and one skein of worsted weight wool (3 ½ -4 ounce skein). Experienced knitters bring the project you are currently working on or the materials for a new project you’re aching to begin. Don’t miss the fun, information, and camaraderie! Classes fill fast, so don’t delay.

Weight Loss Through Hypnosis

Weight loss is a complex issue, and there is no one size fits all plan. Most people can lose weight temporarily by following a diet, but as soon as they stop the diet plan, they start to gain the weight back. Americans spend upwards of thirty billion dollars in diet related products, yet most of these do not address the real issue of how to keep the weight off permanently. Many diets fail because the dieters never develop new habits and behavior patterns with respect to food.

The good news is hypnosis for weight loss can be very helpful. Hypnotist John De George will be at the library to discuss the merits of hypnosis for weight loss, and how it works. He will also talk about why we as a society overeat, how we are conditioned to associate feeling good with food, as well as how eating can become a habit.. Mr. De George will also leave plenty of time for a Q & A period. If you have ever been interested in hypnosis or just even curious, this is the program to attend and get the facts straight.
