Celebrate the end of Summer Reading at our Summer Reading Pizza Party! Hang out with your friends, eat pizza, play board games, and check out the new games on our Virtual Reality set! We will be handing out all prizes for the Summer Reading Challenge, including the three grand prizes. We’ll even have a raffle for a signed copy of They Both Die at The End by Adam Silvera!

The last day to submit your reviews is Friday, August 31st. Everyone who has reviewed at least 2 books this summer is automatically invited. Registration for those who did not participate in Summer Reading will open on September 4th.

Let’s read Between the Lines with this month’s pick, Who Could It Be at This Hour? by Lemony Snicket! In a fading town, far from anyone he knew or trusted, a young Lemony Snicket began his apprenticeship in an organization nobody knows about. He started by asking questions that shouldn’t have been on his mind. Now he has written an account that should not be published, in four volumes that shouldn’t be read. This is the first volume. Snacks will be served and copies of the book will be held aside for participants at the Adult Reference Desk. Bring a friend and you both will receive a prize! Fondant Halloween Cake
